At Woodlands Secondary, we believe every student has a unique strength - whether on the field, on stage, or in the community. Through DSA-Sec, we invite Primary 6 students with passion and potential in these areas to join our family.
Application for DSA-Sec 2026 is open from 6 May 2026, 1am to 2 Jun 2026, 4.30pm. The application is free-of-charge.
What is DSA-Sec?
The DSA-Sec Exercise, introduced by MOE in 2004, recognises that every child has unique strengths beyond academics. It allows Primary 6 students to gain admission to secondary school based on talents in areas like sports, arts, and leadership — before PSLE results are released.
All applications are submitted through MOE’s centralised DSA-Sec Portal.

Choosing Wisely
We encourage parents and students to choose schools based on the child's aptitudes and strengths - not just the name. Consider the school’s academic and non-academic programmes, and whether they truly fit your child’s interests and goals.
Commitment
Students admitted via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school and actively participate in their chosen talent area from Year 1 to Year 4/5.
No prior experience? No problem.
Even if your child is not currently in a related CCA, we welcome applicants with a strong passion and willingness to learn. We assess based on attitude, potential, and fit - not just past achievements.

Trial / Interview period: 29 Jun – 28 Aug 2026 (for shortlisted applicants only)
Final outcome release: 17 – 28 Aug 2026
Successful applicants will be offered a place for Academic Year 2027.
