Welcome to the Woodlands Secondary School family! We are thrilled to have your child join us. This page is designed to guide you through the Sec 1 registration process step-by-step, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start to your child's journey with us.
All registration matters will be conducted online. Should you have any questions, our team is here to help.
Before You Start
To ensure a seamless process, please complete these steps before the registration day.

1. Onboard Parents Gateway | If you are not yet on Parents Gateway (PG), please download the app and set up your account. All official communications will be sent through PG. |
2. Update Contact Details | Ensure your contact information in PG is accurate so we can reach you. If you face difficulties updating, please use this form to submit your changes (opens in new tab). |

4. Enrol in Health Services | Enrol your child into HPB's annual school-based health and dental services. |

21 Dec
Welcome Message: A warm welcome message will be sent to you via Parents Gateway from 1pm onwards.

Enrol into HPB health and dental services
22 Dec
Complete Registration: Acknowledge and complete your child's/ward's registration via Parents Gateway.
If you are not on PG or have difficulties, please use this form to complete registration (opens in new tab).
Financial Assistance (FAS): Apply for MOE FAS if you have not already done so.
Online: Submit your application at https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas (opens in new tab)
Hard Copy: Download the [FAS Application Form], complete it, gather supporting documents, and submit to the school's General Office on 22 Dec.
Subject-Based Banding (SBB): If eligible, accept or reject your SBB offer. You will receive this offer via Parents Gateway.
If you are not on PG and are eligible, the school will contact you to make arrangements.
Higher Mother Tongue / 3rd Language: Our HOD of Mother Tongue Languages will inform eligible students/parents via SMS or phone call. Outcome letters will be available for collection at the General Office and must be submitted by 27 Dec.
27 – 30 Dec
Purchase Books & Uniform: You may purchase textbooks and uniforms online (from 22 Dec) or in school.
FAS Collection: If your FAS application is approved, please bring your approval letter to the General Office first to pick up your collection slip, then proceed to the venues below.

Important for SBB Students: Confirm your acceptance of the Subject-Based Banding offer before purchasing your textbooks to ensure you buy the correct ones.

First Day of School: Report to school by 7:30 AM in formal school attire.
Daily Recess: Our Woodlanders typically spend about $2–$3 during recess for a set meal.
6 Jan
CCA Showcase: Parents, join us from 4pm to explore our vibrant Co-Curricular Activities.
Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM): Meet your child's teachers from 5pm – 6.45pm.
